Warrior Diet

The Warrior “Diet” isn’t a diet.   It’s a way of living for me.  I have chosen to live and behave a certain way when it comes to what I put into my body.   Diets are temporary, but a new way of living is permanent.

So how do I choose what I choose to eat?   What defines my way of living when it comes to nutrition is that when it comes mealtime,  I simply ask myself what would I eat if I were a caveman and I were to be living in the wilderness.  I know that during the day I would be hunting, so during that time I would snack on fruit, vegetables, and nuts.   So naturally, as I am walking around the grocery store during my lunch hour away from work, I simply hit the salad bar, fruit bar, and then walk around the store in search of nuts in the form of either almonds or cashews.  I use to eat the dark chocolate covered almonds, but deep down inside I know that there is still plenty of refined sugar included with that dark chocolate, so I use what willpower I have to avoid that.

I have basically trained myself to start viewing sugar as a drug.  Because it is.  It’s a drug that is allowed into our food system so that easy profits can be made.  So when I see that lemon flavored cake, or that cheesecake at the bakery inside the grocery store just screaming my name….I see drugs instead.   It’s a pile of cocaine to me and I am not going to put it into my body.   At this point,  my “diet” has now become a way of living.   I am starting to recognize certain types of “food”, or products for what they really are.   I want to put into my body what is natural.   Nothing works better for your body than what God has put on this earth for you to ingest naturally and it is pretty arrogant for humans to think that they can “manufacture” food that works even better for your body.

So trust your instincts and eat like a hunter.  And along with it will come a hunter’s body.   Don’t give in to the “sugar trade” business.   A lot of people might think this would be pretty extreme to say, but maybe sugar should have never been allowed into our food chain or at least in regulated quantities of its raw form.   And don’t forget complex carbs that are made from the refine white flour crap.  It’s just as bad and should be eliminated as well.  But hey, it’s more important for the people at the top to make a buck right?   It’s a way of living and you gotta see the overall bigger picture when it comes to food.   That way you will be able to follow an eating plan much easier because you will have a much better understanding of what is good and what is bad and the true reasons why.

  1. Why choose a raw food diet

Being on a raw food diet implies that you consume food that has not been cooked or otherwise processed. In addition, organic foods should make the basis for such a diet. A raw food diet may just be the best way to get rid of all sorts of health problem…
