I learned that very quickly. When I wrote the blog, I had just bought the terra and thought that WD40 was just as good as any. It seems like it's more of a cleaning type of spray. I ended up using a lubricant made specifically for chains. I was basically over-oiling because it seemed to quiet the idlers a bit, but I was just getting to much lubricant everywhere. Good point.
