  Pit bull fighting is one of those things that is very hard to understand.  It’s something I would never want to see and would like to think that it doesn’t go on.  But why does it go on?

One has to understand the type of individual that is involved in this sort of thing.  First of all, pit bulls are used as fighting dogs not only because they are excellent fighters, but because they WILL fight.  Put two other breed of dogs in the ring together, and more than likely they will just lick each other.  Pit Bulls will go at it.  The winning dog walks away, and the losing dog gets a bullet in its head. 

In my opinion, it takes a criminal mind to be involved in this sort of thing.  The people that take part in watching a dog get torn up and killed do so because they ENJOY it.  These types of people more than likely belong in jail.   They enjoy fighting and they love violence.  So from their point of view, they cannot understand or comprehend how come no loves to watch two dogs chew each other up. 

You see, there are people like this out in society, and it goes beyond dog fighting.  The harsh reality of life is that there are people out there that are just plain rotten to the core.  They were born that way, and will always be that way.  They find enjoyment and gratification in things that would turn most of our stomachs.  That is how they are wired and there is no changing it.  It was once said, that individuals such as this were actually valuable to society at one time.   In ancient times, when an army was needed to join in hand to hand bloody combat to fight for the king, it was these types of individuals that took part in it.   They love to kill people and have no fear about being killed themselves.  In times of war, these people were valuable, and in times of peace, they needed to be locked up.

These people are walking around today.  You never know what is going through someone’s head.  But if you ever want to find one of these types and don’t want to make any trips to a prison to see any, then go find a pit bull fight somewhere.  You’ll get to meet lots of these sickos.  And some of these sickos make great football players too.  They love to fight.  They have no fear.  And they love to bang heads on the football field.  If they weren’t playing Professional football making millions, then they’d be in jail fighting with someone.
