Paleo Example: Not the 3 day diet
Ok, for some of you that are having trouble kicking off that Paleo diet and might be confused about “how” to eat, I’ll tell you what I ate today.
Breakfast:
Egg pie - 3 whole eggs, parmesan cheese, flax seed oil, and herbal seasonings cooked all at once on the stove. A lid was also place on the pan to steam the eggs.
1 - Synergy drink - Organic raw fermented tea. 100% natural. This stuff rocks. Get it at Whole Foods. Try it!
Lunch: Went to the salad bar, grabbed one of their plastic containers and filled with:
1. large spoonful of tangerines
2. large spoonful of blueberries
3. 5 - strawberries
4. several helpings of dried banana chips
5. dumped about 1/8 lb of chicken breast strips on top of it
6. squirted the mix with some olive oil. Then I shook it up!
7. A large diet coke (No it’s not considered Paleo, but it has very few ingredients out of ALL the diet drinks and it definitely won’t make ya fat. I do allow myself diet coke with caffeine on the Paleo)
Dinner:
Some kettle fried chicken breast slices, with natural cheese slices, topped with organic cream cheese.
1 - Synergy drink - Organic raw fermented tea. 100% natural. This stuff rocks. Get it at Whole Foods. Try it!
Late Evening:
Hard boiled eggs sliced in half, and topped with Dijon mustard. Mmm Mmm!
Ok, so that is what I ate today. It’s my typical diet every day of the week. I have a few more recipes I am going to try this week. I might make some organic wheat pancakes with bananas for some slow digesting carbs. We’ll see how that goes. But I try to stay very light with the carbs. When I do eat carbs, I get it from fruit for the simple sugars and from brown rice, oats, and wheat for slow digesting complex carbs. Nothing refined or made with flour. All I know is that I felt perfectly fine today and what I ate did me just fine.
