Knowledge is power, but does one have to be exceptionally intelligent or have a high intelligence quotient to obtain knowledge? Basically, what does it mean to be intelligent? Possessing a deep knowledge base fosters intelligence. Knowledge is not something that is acquired all at once, but rather built on over time. So it would be fair to say that intelligence can be built upon. Some will say that intelligence is simply one’s ability to be able to acquire knowledge, while others will say that someone with plenty of knowledge is intelligent. And even more will say that what you do with the knowledge is the true mark of your intelligence.
Well, one thing is for sure, knowledge is the key ingredient behind everything. You cannot achieve any level of success without it. But there is one thing that is overlooked when it comes to how a lot of us acquire knowledge, or possess a deep knowledge base about certain things that others do not. Here is an example. I have a relative that is a retired high school history teacher. He has taught history for almost 40 years. Yet, when it comes to things such as WWII, all he can tell you is exactly what one would see in a high school history book of which of course doesn’t amount to much at all. After all of the years he spent in the education system, he never, and to this day, realizes that the education system is controlled by a branch of government with an agenda that most certainly control and see to it what books are used for learning. And of course, thes books used never tell the true story at all of how or why WWII was started and the truth of what went on before it. But besides that, the reason why he cannot tell you anything more than what can be found in a book is because all of his life he has never QUESTIONED anything. That is the key element.
There are a lot of people out there that might seem very normal or intelligent, but cannot tell you a darn thing about anything. I mean, the same people that are pulling in six figure salaries and living in nice houses, are the same people that to this day believe everything they hear on the main stream media news and buy into everything that is fed to them from the television set. The reason why they are like this is because the average person never really questions anything. I have come to realize this about most people. For example, when I was a very young man, and had learned that there are people out there that collect welfare checks and have kids to get more welfare checks and live on welfare, I had to ask myself why this was. This of course led me to ask even more questions until I basically realized that the whole true objective behind welfare was to slowly implement a socialist communist society. Just think of the 1980’s movie “Gremlins” and you will see overall what handing out welfare like candy can do to a society over a long period of time. And that is only the tip of the iceberg. This led me to questioning which political parties are involved with things like this, and what other things have they done throughout the history of our country to push us closer to this agenda. So basically, because I kept questioning things, and one question kept leading to another, I had acquired a huge knowledge base of American History that about 9 out of 10 people walking on the streets today have absolutely no concept of. And you can include the retired high school teacher into that mix as well.
If you want to broaden your horizons by expanding your understanding and knowledge base of the world, you need to question things. You need to wonder about things. You need to ask why things are the way they are. If you want to know why some people that don’t seem to know anything are so rich with money while others aren’t, you need to question that and then research anything you can find. You’d be suprised with the answers you find that lead you to more questions which then lead you to view the world completely different than you ever have. I see the world completely different today than I did 2 or 3 years ago. Through that, I felt that I have grown as a person. I feel that in the years to come, I will be able to make better decisions and learn more things that will contribute to success. Personal success begins with questions. Realistically, 98% of people in society are successful because they had it handed to them. This is actually very true. Most people that you see that seem to have money either inherited it, have an inherited trust fund, won a lawsuit, or inherited money that was won from a lawsuit. You’d be suprised how many people there are out there like this. There are a lot of people out there with law degrees that will flash their wealth of whom want you to believe that they have money because they are a successful lawyer, when the actual truth is that their money comes from a trust fund that had been given to them. Their actual salaries aren’t enough to live beyond a middle class lifestyle. But when it’s supplemented with a trust fund, they come out looking very smart and successful. Don’t let people fool you. Some of us don’t have this advantage and have to actually succeed on our own. So question things and build a knowledge base. Then find a way to turn that knowledge into cash. Knowledge isn’t only power, but knowledge is wealth as well.
