Building a Successful Website with Traffic
Do you need to have the best looking website with the best content to be a successful site with traffic galore? Of course not. We already have living proof that something can rank #1 in America without being the best around. George Dubya Bush is a perfect example. One would naturally assume that to be the President of the United States of America that you would need to have a 200 + IQ, be perfect looking, and have the most natural leadership skills than anyone around. In my opinion, to be a leader of a country, you should have all of these attributes. But George possesses none of these. And this has never been the case with any of our Presidents.
You see, George Bush getting votes is like a website getting traffic. He has a name that has been in politics for decades, a name that has been part of the corporate elites for almost a century, and a persona that appeals to a lot of southerners for that southern vote. So basically, he was nominated to run for the Republican Party because it was decided that he would attract the most traffic to get him into office. So if you’ve got a name that’s been around for a while, you’ve done a lot of social networking, and you’ve got content that appeals to a large crowd, then you eventually are going to get traffic without having to have the best site around. It’s just a matter of having your name associated with a lot of things, but it takes time. And eventually the Search Engine will nominate you just like the Republicans nominated George Bush. He could bring in the traffic and had the most relevant content amongst the other possible nominees.
